AI-Powered Health Platform Relive Wins Techstart 2024 in Vietnam

Relive, a digital healthcare platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to assist in monitoring physical therapy and rehabilitation, has recently won first place in the Techstart 2024 startup competition in Vietnam, local media reported.

The project was created by students from VinUni, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Engineering and Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Foreign Trade University, and Denison University in Ohio, the U.S.

Relive is a mobile health platform designed to support the supervision of physical therapy and rehabilitation for patients with mobility issues. It operates using computer vision technology and AI, enabling the app to record every movement of the patient through the phone's camera.

By comparing these movements to standardized exercises provided by sports medicine specialists, the platform can issue real-time alerts and adjustments if the patient performs an incorrect motion. The patient’s training sessions are recorded, analyzed, and compiled into a report to help doctors make suitable adjustments to the patient's treatment plan.
