ADB funds Hanoi Science and Technology University

PM Nguyen Tan Dung has asked the State President to ratify credit agreements for the establishment of Hanoi Science and Technology University – a state-of-the-art institution which will support research, technical innovation, and skills development. Earlier, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam signed the above agreements with representatives of the Asian development Bank (ADB). Under these agreements, ADB pledged to provide $190 million for the project which is scheduled to be completed by 2017. (news.gov.vn Jan 31)
