47 Houses Built for the Poor

The Ho Chi Minh City’s Border Guard and the City’s Vietnamese Fatherland Front raised funds of VND 1,916 billion and built 47 houses and some public constructions for the poor in Can Gio District. The two units held a conference to review the program “Houses for the poor in bordering and island areas” on March 29th. Senior Lieutenant-Colonel To Danh Ut, Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Border Guard, said that the officers and soldiers of border post No. 562 built a community house for local people and a computing room for pupils in Ly Nhon Commune, at a cost of VND 275 millions.
