300 Unlucky Children in Lam Dong Province To Have Health Checks

300 children under 15 years old with congenital heart defects in Lam Dong province will be examined on October 15th at the Rehabilitation Hospital in Da Lat City with the support of Minh Vinh Khang (MVK) Commercial JSC-the investor of the project Beacon Pass Residential in Lam Dong-in association with HCMC Children’s Hospital 2 and the sponsoring association for disabled, orphans and poor patients in Lam Dong. The VND50million-program aims to help needy children and their family. Besides, MVK will finance of $40,000 for the surgery titled “Children’s Smile” in Hanoi and HCMC and provide other support to needy children over six months. Various children have had heart surgery thanks to the screenings sponsored by MVK. As planned, Children’s Hospital 2 will continue their screenings in Kien Giang Province in 2011 and the Central provinces in 2012. (qdnd.vn Oct 12)
