‘Great Unity’ Houses Presented To Ethnic Minority Families in Quang Binh
The Command of the Quang Binh provincial Border Guard and the provincial Fatherland Front Committee handed over 22 ‘Great Unity’ houses yesterday to ethnic minority families in Do village, Trong Hoa commune in Quang Binh province. The project was established with a capital of VND740 million ($35,500), of which VND600 million ($28,800) contributed by the Petroleum Service Port Company under the PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and VND140 million ($6,700) by the Minh Hoa district People’s Committee. The house building aims to respond to the program entitled ‘Houses for the poor in border areas and islands’ launched by the Border Guard Command. The projects will help minority ethnic families to stabilize their life and to ease their current difficulties. (nhandan.org.vn Sept 26)
