Job title:  Volunteer Graphic Designer
Main duty station:  Hanoi 

Organization background: 

The trade in wildlife products in Asia in the form of meat, pets, trophies, and medicine is escalating at an alarming rate. This unprecedented boom is due to a combination of factors,  including habitat loss;  road-building  that  links  forests  to  markets;  a  growing  human  population;  growing  urban wealth;  and  commercial  trade  across  the  region  that  is  increasingly well  organized,  though  often illegal.  

WCS  is  addressing  this  issue  through  scientific  assessments  and working  closely with partners  in applying practical solutions on the ground. Through in-depth knowledge and sensitivity to complex issues,  we  propose  solutions  that  address  the  symptoms  and  underlying  causes  of  the  intense increase in hunting and wildlife trade while also supporting the livelihoods of rural communities.

WCS is looking for a Volunteer Graphic Designer to help us create fabulous designs for our ranges of: poster, backdrop, banner, standee, CD label, report material design, etc.

Main responsibilities of the required post:

•  Develop creative and professional graphic designs for WCS activities (trainings, events, workshops, meetings)
•  Creating templates and/or style guides for range of WCS materials to create consistency across our communications  and project materials (presentations, letter head, cover page, proposal, fliers)
•  Take part in any communication and project activities if required

Desired qualifications: 

This position is for a Vietnamese student who have just graduated or going to graduate who has

•  Good Vietnamese language skills (English proficiency is a priority)
•  Good  design  skill  and  experience  in  related  activities  (skill  of  infographics    design  is  a priority)
•  Good computer skills in using graphic programs
•  Good communication skills and willing to receive comments for his/her designs 
•  Able  to  be  at  office  for  design  idea  initiation  and  discussion;  design work  can  be  done  in somewhere else not necessarily at office.

We would like to have a test for you to design a poster for a wildlife conservation campaign.
