Short-term Interpreter

The BTC (Belgian Development Agency) plans to carry out the FORMULATION of the Project “SUPPORT TO THE INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS INCUBATORS POLICY PROJECT” in end February 2013. The objective of the mission is to formulate a new intervention with an adopted approach that takes into account all aspects related with the implementation, such as timing, budget, institutional set-up, M&E etc.

BTC is recruiting a Vietnamese national for the short-term translator/interpreter position
Time inputs: 20 days
Duty station: Hanoi with possible travel to HCMC

Description of duties:

- Translation/interpretation from Vietnamese to English and vice versa during meetings, workshops, field interviews
- Provide administrative support when required

Requirements:

- University graduate with a minimum of 5 years of translating experience
- Experience in similar assignment will be an advantage
- Experience in working as translator/interpreter for ODA development projects, working experience and knowledge in business incubator development will be an advantage
- Flexible, good team player
- Office software proficiency
