Senior Qualitative Researcher

Report to    :  Researcher manager
Liaises with    :  PSI/Vietnam- Research Department
Period    :  9 July 2016 - 28 July 2016 (Up to 13 working days total)

1.  Objectives: The interviewer will conduct interviews with women including youth, unmarried women, married women, and post abortion women at places where they involve the social daily activities. Specifically, she will follow below activities:

• Participate in briefing conducted by PSI for study method and study tools
• Contact with local people at study sites to set up for data collection
• Conduct interviews and data collection at the field
• Support PSI research staffs to input and analyze data
• Support to do a final report

Deliverables:

• Records of interview at high quality standards: send daily to PSI for transcriptions
• Daily update of field activities (initial field observations and challenges) 
• Field reports with initial findings from field experiences

2.    Qualification requirements:

• Master on sociology, social science, public health
• Strong experience of reproductive health and family planning
• Outstanding experience of qualitative interview

3.    Logistics and Document Preparation

• The consultant will be supported travel and hotel cost as the cost norm of PSI
• Document and stationary will be prepared by PSI.
• The consultant has to bring your own recorder.
