Researcher for HIV Prevention Activitiy
RECRUITMENT ANNOUCEMENT
1. Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP) is a non-government organization working mainly in the field of public health and social science (see the detail at http://ccihp.org). CCIHP is seeking for a researcher for HIV prevention activitiy. Research activity is performed parallel with the intervention model (implemented by partners), working directly with target communities in HIV prevention and mitigation. Researcher will have a chance to access the latest models in HIV prevention such as HIV testing, PrEP; work with private clinics, community clinics in a completely new approach, and have many opportunities to explore and test information technology in research.
2. Job description
- Participate in the design and implementation of research (quantitative and qualitative) within the framework of the project with technical group and consultants:
- Participate in the development of research outline and tools;
- Participate in organizing and coordinating information collection;
- Manage and process research data;
- Translate research documents;
- Participate in analysis and field report writing .
- Participate in writing research papers for the project and report to donors,
- Participate in specialized seminars, networking activities according to the project's professional content to build a network for yourself and organization.
3. Requirements
- Graduated from the university of public health or social sciences, prior for those who have a master's degree and specialization in management and analysis in quantitative research;
- Have experience in research, candidate who has experience in working with target communities (people living with HIV, sex workers, drug users, MSM, etc) would be preferable;
- Have ability to work independently and in team;
- Proficiency in computer and at least in a data processing software, preferably candidate with experience in using ODK, Kobo;
- Good use of English (professional exchange, reading materials, writing reports, conducting discussions in workshops, training);
- Ready to go field trip;
- Enthusiastic, responsible at work, eager to learn
