Project Officer
The Centre for Community Socio-Economic and environmental Development (CSEED) is a Vietnamese NGO established in January 2006 under the decision of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA).
Their mission is to support sustainable livelihoods and environment development in targeted vulnerable and marginalized communities.
CSEED is looking for a Vietnamese to fill in the following position: PROJECT OFFICER
The Project Officer will be based in CSEED office located in Hanoi with frequent travel to project sites.
Reports to: Programme Manager
Key responsibilities:
Implementing and monitoring on-going projects which include following tasks:
- coordinating Project Partners and communities to develop annual and quarterly Implementation Plans of the projects.
- collecting information on plan and implementation of project activities, project expenditures from project partner.
- arranging field visits to assist and monitor project implementation and project expenses at community and project partner levels.
- reviewing quarterly financial and narrative reports and implementation plans prepared by project partners and making recommendations to Programme Manager
- documenting models exercised in project
- cordinating project evaluation
- writing six month, annual and final reports
- Planning and designing new project proposals for submission to donors
- Participating in the preparation of CSEED programme updates and annual reports.
- Other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- University degree, in one of the following majors: environment, natural resource management, agriculture, economics and irrigation;
- At least 03 years experience in development projects with NGO (experience in market access, value chain is preferable)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proven professional skills in facilitation, logistic arrangement, financial management, documentation/research and training
- Good English and Vietnamese skills
- Good computer and interpersonal skills
