Project Intern

Save the Children in Vietnam (SC) works to promote every child’s rights to survival, protection, participation and development as set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The current programme focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Care and support; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child rights agenda, including Civil society development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.
Vacancy: Project Intern
Based in Hanoi
They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Project Intern for Child Protection programme. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travel to the project sites.
Main Responsibilities:
The intern is responsible for supporting the implementation of the project activities in child protection programme.
Key Competencies:
- University degree and equivalent degree in social sciences
- Willing to learn and work in a dynamic atmosphere
- Enthusiastic with NGOs’ work in Vietnam
- Capacity to work effectively in a team and as an active team member
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Good liaison and negotiation skills
- Good computer skills in Word, Excel
