The Association for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (AEPD) is a local NGO in Vietnam, born out of the international humanitarian organization, Survivor Corps/Landmine Survivors Network (SC/LSN). Our programs aim to improve the psycho-social and economic well-being of people with disabilities through economic and social empowerment, access to health care, climate change adaptation and community-based disaster risk management. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated person, Vietnamese nationality, based in our office in Quang Binh province in the position of

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Contract term: One year, extendable, full time job, salary to be negotiated
Location: Based in Quang Binh
Interfacing: The Project Coordinator reports to and is supervised by the Management Board

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Directly implement or support the implementation of project activities assigned by the Management Board;
• Prepare detailed project  work plan;
• Assist the development of monitoring procedures and tools as well as collect and file statiscal data, information, photos regarding the project activities;
• Conduct the project monitoring and evaluation regularly and prepare project reports periodically as requested (in English)
• Write workshops/meetings minutes;
• Liason with related stakeholders in the implementation and monitoring of project activities at field work to ensure effective cooperation at the local;
• Support and build capacity to the field workers regarding to the projects that be in charge of;
• Do translation and interpretation upon request;
• Organize or support to implement project events;
• Promote images, values and programs of AEPD to the community, local partners and other related stakeholders;
• Ensure good coordination, communication and relations with project team members and local partners
• Perform other functions and duties as the operation or exigencies of the project may require.

Selection Criteria and Qualifications

• Bachelor or post-graduate Degree in social work, development studies, Economics, Business Administration, and other related fields
• Be fluent and skillful in English, including listening, reading, speaking and writing;
• Strong computer and excellent communication skills
• Minimum 3-years of practical experience in project implementation with a development organization, preferably experience in working with  NGO.
• Good knowledge in working with Government agencies
• Strong competent in planing, facilitating, monitoring, evaluation and reporting;
• Team work and interpersonal skills;
