Program Assistant

Bloom Microventures Vietnam is looking for a competent Vietnamese candidate for the position: Program Assistant, based in Hanoi
Main responsibilities: This position supports Bloom Microventures in the execution of its microcredit and pro-poor tourism programs in Hoa Binh province.
Microcredit Program
    * Carry out client assessment, loan appraisal, loan disbursement and client monitoring on a growing portfolio of approximately 100 farmer clients
    * Liaison with project partners and stakeholders at the commune level
    * Assist in compiling quarterly program newsletters
    * Assist in the design and implementation of relevant capacity building trainings for farmer clients
Pro-poor Tourism Program
    * Make administrative and logistic arrangement for relevant pro-poor tour activities
    * Lead Microcredit Day Tours to Hoa Binh, mostly every Saturday
    * Assist in the business development and marketing of Bloom Microventures' pro-poor tours
    * Responsible for social media updates
Requirements
    * Bachelor degree
    * Excellent English and Vietnamese language skills
    * Previous working experiences in community and/or tourism is preferred
    * Basic knowledge and understanding of community development work
    * Basic knowledge and understanding of tourism in Vietnam
    * Care and respect for, as well as willingness to work with farmers and disadvantaged groups
    * Excellent customer service skills, ability and willingness to deliver tourist satisfaction
    * Web skills are appreciated
    * Working week from Tuesday to Saturday; Sunday and Monday off
    * Ability to meet the physical demand of the responsibilities listed
    * Cheerful, energetic and optimistic personality
Notes:
    * Monthly salary of up to VND8,000,000 depending on level of experience and qualifications.
    * A probationary period of 2 months is required.
