Operation Division Officer

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has been operating in 30 countries, supporting approximately 16.8 million people, including 9.6 million children.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 3 provinces; Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. GNI is working in main areas such as child sponsorship and education, water and sanitation, income generation, etc. in 9 CDPs and is managing over 9,400 sponsored children.

2. MAIN DUTIES

• Participate in making research, design, and monitor and evaluate education programs including Learner-centered Approach, Youth Development Clubs, Reading Enrichment Program, Career Pathfinders…
• Raise ideas to operate educational programs to meet the needs of local;
• Provide ideas to design campaign materials to introduce and develop education programs;
• Regular contact with related partners including Education Department, Community Development Committee, Schools and Parents;
• Be responsible for implementing activities related to education programs;
• Conduct regular monitoring by observing lessons in classes, attending clubs’ meeting…
• Prepare program reports and submit to Project Manager;
• Support other division to conduct any tasks assigned by Project Manager.

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

• All eligible applicants are specialized in these following
• Education: Education Management, Early Childhood or Primary Education
• English Language
• Developmental Psychology
• Social Workers

Work experience

• At least 01 year of working experience, applicant working in related fields are preferred;
• Be experienced in conducting research, analysis and
• Experience and skills of project management, including planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and partnership;
• Experience in working independently and with the team;
• Experience in community development or with NGO

Skills

• Be able to read and communicate in English;
• Love and be able to encourage children;
• Be good at organizing, team work and interpersonal skills;
• Own good computer skills including MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Attitude

• Sociable, responsive, committed working with GNI at least 2 years.
