M&E/Research Intern
1. Title of Post : M&E/Research Intern
2. Reports to : M&E Coordinator
3. Duration of post : 6-month with potential of extension, full-time or part-time
4. Duty Station : Hanoi office with occasional travels to project sites
5. Position Summary: The M&E/Research Intern will have opportunities to participate and learn from M&E system and research activities of PSI under the guidance/support of the M&E Coordinator and Research Coordinator and in close collaboration with PSI’s Program team. The incumbent will not be attached to a single project and should be ready to work on different initiatives within the Knowledge Management & Communications team. He/she is expected use common senses and specialized skills to the best of his/her ability to contribute to PSI’s mission.

7. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Supporting data entry into PSI’s information management system
- Supporting data monitoring and verification by phone calls, email and other channels when required and in accordance with PSI’s policies, best practices as well as donor requirements
- Translating, reviewing and supporting the writing of research materials
- Contributing to research design and data collection as requested
- Supporting the writing of reports – when required and appropriate
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor
8. Selection criteria
- Bachelor’s degree, a Public Health background is an advantage
- Have an essential knowledge on Microsoft Office 2010 (Excel, Word. Power-point, etc.)
- Knowledge of using statistical packages (e.g. SPSS, STATA or R) - an advantage.
- Willing to learn new things
- Have positive attitudes, enthusiasm, and be interested in working as a team
- Good English (speaking and writing) would be an asset
