M&E/Research Intern
1. Title of Post : M&E/Research Intern
2. Reports to : Strategic Information (SI) Director
3. Duration of post : 01-year, full time
4. Duty Station : Hanoi office with occasional travels to project sites
5. Position Summary: The M&E/Research Intern will have opportunities to participate and learn from M&E system and research activities of PSI under the guidance/support of the PSI’s SI Director and in close collaboration with another PSI’s program team. The incumbent will s not be attached to a single project and should be ready to work on different initiatives within SI team. He/she is expected to gain general knowledge, use common senses and specialized skills to the best of his/her ability to contribute to own and PSI’s mission.

7. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Entering, managing data in PSI’s management system.
- Monitoring and verifying data collected through phone calls and/or physical visit to PSI clients and partners
- Ensuring quality data from the activity level feeds into program management and donor reports in accordance with PSI regional and global policies, best practice and donor requirements.
- Translating, reviewing and supporting the writing of M&E and research materials.
- Supporting the writing of reports – when required and appropriate
- Contributing to the study design and collecting data as requested.
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
8. Selection criteria
- Graduate student, a Public Health background – an advantage
- Have an essential knowledge on Microsoft Office 2010 (Excel, Word. Power-point...).
- Knowledge of using statistical packages (e.g. STATA) - an advantage.
- Willing to learn new things
- Have positive attitudes, enthusiasm, and be interested in working as a team
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing) would be an asset
