M&E Officer, Youth Economic Opportunities

Vacancy: M&E Officer, Youth Economic Opportunities
Based in Da Nang
We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of M&E Officer, Youth Economic Opportunities. The successful candidate will be based in Da Nang city with frequent travels to project sites. The successful candidate will be offered competitive remuneration package and opportunity for learning and development.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder is responsible to monitor and measure the Skills to Succeed project’s outputs, outcomes and impacts according to the agreed upon indicators and to facilitate capturing lessons learnt in order to ensure that the project’s youth employment and entrepreneurship activities in Da Nang and Can Tho City are implemented to a high standard of quality, on time, and within budget.
Key Competencies
Essential
– University degree in statistics, economics, business administration or relevant disciplines
– Minimum 3 year working experience in community development, preferably on a youth employment and/or entrepreneurship project
– Strong conceptual skills, prior experience in developing logical frameworks, M&E frameworks, and conducting surveys and assessments
– Proficient in Excel, experience in Access, SPSS, and/or Stata will be advantageous
– Highly organized and detail oriented
– Good communication skills and a positive attitude to team work
– Advanced level of spoken and written English and Vietnamese
– Commitment to Save the Children’s values
Desirable
– Experience and/or knowledge of M&E, including defining M&E indicators, data collection, data analysis and data presentation
– Experience and/or knowledge of labour markets, training and/or coaching, project management, etc.
