Interpreter/Translator

Medical  Committee  Netherlands  Vietnam  (MCNV)  is  a  Dutch  NGO  supporting  health  and development in Vietnam since 1968. We are now looking for an interpreter/translator.

Job summary: 

Work as interpreter and translator to support a Dutch researcher doing data collection in Dak Lak. It is requested for working at the field for at least 3 weeks.

Reporting lines:

Report directly to Program Advisor (PA) of Community Based Rehabilitation Program.

Position:  Interpreter/Translator 
Quantity:  01
Program:    Community Based Rehabilitation. This programme is performed in cooperation between MCNV and her counterparts of different sectors at both national and provincial level in Cao Bang and Dak Lak. 
Location:  Hanoi and Dak Lak.
Assignment Starts:  15 May – 15 July 2014
Project Duration:  The Interpreter/Translator will be under a contract. Extension possible if necessary.

Essential Criteria for the position

• Degree in English or Social work or Public Health is preferable.
• Good inter-personal and communications skills
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English language, both written and spoken
• Ability to tailor language, tone, style and format to match the audience
• Planning, organizing and multi-tasking
