Interpreter/Translator

Medical Committee Netherlands Vietnam (MCNV) is a Dutch NGO operating in the field of health in Vietnam since 1968. We are now looking for 01 volunteer:

Job summary:     Work as interpreter and translator for a Dutch Volunteer to work in Cao Bang province.

Reporting lines:    Report directly to Program Advisor (PA) of the Disability  Program.

Position: Interpreter/Translator (1)

Quantity: 01

Project: Out-door activity for children with intellectual disabilities in Cao Bang Center for Rehabilitation and Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities.

Location: Cao Bang province

Assignment Starts: 1st October – 1st December 2014

Project Duration: Contract will be for 2 months.

Essential Criteria for both positions:  

• Fluency in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken
• Good inter-personal and communications skills
• Positive attitude towards children with disabilities and ability to work with children with disability
• Good at planning, organizing and multi-tasking
• Degree in English or Social work is preferable.
