International Technical Consultant on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Sex Ratio At Birth Imbalance (SRB)
Under the One Plan (OP) for the period of 2012-2016, signed by the UN and the Government of Viet Nam, UNFPA has committed to support key government partners such as the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, and Social Organizations to contribute to the achievement of related OP outputs on GBV, and SRB under outcome 2.4.
Two specific outputs are:
1. Outputs 2.4.3 of OP: “Gender related legal and policy frameworks programmes and practices strengthened to effectively address gender inequality and inequity, gender discrimination and gender-based violence.”
2. Output 2.4.4 of OP: “Multi-sectoral coordination mechanisms effectively guide comprehensive evidence-based planning, budgeting, M&E for a sustainable response to gender inequality, inequity, discrimination and gender-based violence.”
Within this framework, UNFPA Vietnam Country Office is recruiting an International Technical Consultant to provide strategic technical advice and support to the country office, specifically to the Gender Team, in the design, implementation and monitoring of related programmes on GBV and SRB within the framework of the 2012-2016 OP/Common Country Programme Document (CCPD).
