Institutional/Corporate Service for Facilitating the Child Rights based Social Audits

UNICEF VIET NAM is looking for qualified Institutional/Corporate service for facilitating the Child Rights based Social Audits in Dien Bien.

Summary of the Assignment

This assignment will support UNICEF’s provincial counterpart in Dien Bien to undertake Child Rights Based Social Audits which is a tool to take stock of the degree to which children’s rights, needs and interests are taken into consideration in national policies and programmes at different levels and to discern priorities for action to improve performance in a participatory manner. The Child Rights Based Social Audits will assess the extent to which children issues have been addressed in socio-economic development plans (SEDP) and sector plans for the sectors of health, education, child protection and water and sanitation. Importantly, this exercise will explore the way for better realization of child rights through these plans. This exercise will employ desk review, consultations with key stakeholders, key informant interviews with leaders and experts from line departments, and focused group discussions with children.

The Service Providers will be asked to make the bid in 2 parts: one will be the technical proposal and the other one will be the price proposal.
