Experts and Project Staff for Agricultural Development Project

Management Unit of the Ha Tinh Agricultural Development Project is seeking for experts and project staff as follows:

1. Full-time value chain expert of agricultural products: 01 person

Requirements:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics; preferably Agricultural Economics;
• Have a minimum of five years work experience in the field of agriculture (related to management, agricultural economics), with a minimum of two years of experience in agricultural development projects;
• Have proven knowledge and experience of value chains.

2. Part-time marketing and value chain expert: 01 person

Requirements:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics; preferably Agricultural Economics ;
• Have a minimum of five years work experience and experience in agricultural and rural development projects, with a minimum of two years of experience in agricultural value chains.
• Have performed at least 01 consulting service on crop value chains (rice, green tea or vegetable) and livestock value chains (beef and pork).
• Have good analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

3. Part-time Livestock expert

Requirements:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering (Majors: Animal Husbandry, Veterinary); preferably experience in Ha Tinh province’s agriculture.
• Have a minimum of five years work experience in agriculture; with the minimum participation in two agriculture and rural development projects;
• Have performed at least 01 consulting service on livestock value chains (preferably pork and beef value chains)
• Have good analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

4. Part- time Horticulture expert: 01 person

Requirements:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering (Majors: Horticulture, Plant protection); preferably experience in Ha Tinh province’s agriculture.
• Have a minimum of five years work experience in agriculture with the minimum participation in two agriculture and rural development projects;
• Have performed at least 01 consulting service on crop value chains (preferably rice, green tea and vegetables)
• Have good analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

5. Part-time Information Technology (IT) Officer: 01 person

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in informatics, information technology and a minimum of B-level English certificate
• Experience: Have a minimum of five years work experience in the field of network administration and website administration.

* Salary is subject to negotiation (based on UN-EU Guidelines on the financing of local costs in development cooperation with Vietnam - 2013 update)
