Evaluators at CSCD
Center for Sustainable Community Development ( CSCD), a Vietnamese NGO is looking for a 2 National Consultants to conduct the final evaluation for the Project “Poverty Reduction by Using Environmentally Sustainable Methods in Two Ethnic-Minority Districts of Lang Son, Province”.
This is a continuation extension of the project “Poverty Reduction by Using Environmentally Sustainable Methods and HIV/AIDS Prevention in Two Ethnic-Minority Districts of Lang Son, a Northern Mountainous Province,” funded by Bread for the World (BfdW). That project is being implemented, during January 1, 2011 to March 31, 2013 in six villages in Gia Mien Commune (Van Lang District) and Quoc Viet Commune (Trang Dinh District), Lang Son Province. The current proposal is the continuation of the project implementation in the two communes mentioned and expansion to Hung Son Commune in Trang Dinh District, but the component of HIV/AIDS prevention is not included.
The evaluation will answer the questions on improving agricultural production toward sustainability and on capacity-building for project partners
Qualifications of national consultants:
1. Team leader:
- 15 years of field experience relevant to the TOR, at least 7 years of professional conducting evaluations with participatory approaches .
- Experience in project management and implementation
- Have strong knowledge on rural communities, especially on ethnic minorities
- Independly but be capable of working as a team.
- Professional command of English ( writing and reading) and be able to produce high quality report.
2. Team assistant:
- 5 years of experience in project management and implementation
- Capacity to work independently in data collection and analysis.
- Experience in evaluation.
- Good knowledge on rural communities, especially on ethnic minorities
- Available for field work from November 20th to December 21st, 2015
