Vacancies at Hue EIP- Hue City Water Environment Improvement Project

Hue EIP is an ODA-funded project by the Government of Japan and is being implemented to renovate and improve drainage systems and wastewater treatment of Hue City.

In the context of its implementation of the Hue City Water Environment Improvement Project (Hue EIP), Black & Veatch International is recruiting two (02) Document Controllers/Translators for the Project.

Specifically the Translator/Document Controllers will:

• To translate official letters, contracts, planning documents, meeting minutes, administrative and technical reports, training material, legal documents, and other documents between English and Vietnamese;
• To provide interpretation services at technical meetings and other construction supervision activities on the sites between English and Vietnamese;
• To accompany the Company’s experts and consultants to the field trips, providing interpretation and arrangement required for the field work;
•  To assist Deputy Project Managers in communicating and liaising with Vietnamese counterparts/contractors and the other relevant parties on the construction sites;
• To assist the foreign experts in collecting, analyzing, and storing relevant data, incoming and outgoing documents, communications, reports, and other related materials;
•  To regularly ensure the project document control system and organize them systematically in the project network folders;
•  To perform other duties as requested by Deputy Project Managers

Academic Qualifications:

• University Degree in English. The person has sufficient language skills to serve as translator/Document controller
• Excellent written and spoken English and Vietnamese skills
• At least three years of professional and field experiences in translation/interpretation

Expected Start Date of Assignment:  August 2016

Work location: Hue City

Duration:  12 months with possibility of extension.
