Education for Nature - Vietnam (ENV) is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about wildlife protection, has strong communication skills and isn’t afraid to talk to people, whether they are business people, government officers or members of the public, about the problems with consuming wildlife and wildlife products. This position will work for Demand Reduction Department which is tasked with executing species focused campaigns. The Demand Reduction program officer will base in Hanoi and report to Demand Reduction Program Coordinator.
The position based in Hanoi
Main Responsibilities
- Organize and execute public outreach events
- Maintain ENV’s demand reduction campaigns
- Support with the implementation of targeted campaigns in Hanoi and occasionally other locations.
- Coordinate and assist in finalizing reports of the program and initiatives as required
- Complete other duties and assignments as specified by ENV managers
Skills and requirements
- Vietnamese citizen with University degree
- Language skills: good verbal and written English, and strong written Vietnamese
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good coordination and organization skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and pay attention to details
- Design skills required
- A passion for wildlife protection and conservation
