Consultants for Aquaculture Programme
WWF was one of the first International non-government organizations working in Vietnam. We are looking for Consultant to conduct Assessment (TOR are attached for your reference)
Objective :
- Prepare a methodology and procedure to conduct a BEIA at farmer groups/cooperatives level in-line with the outline of the appendix I of ASC shrimp standards. The BEIA should address all issues identified under requirements of standards: 2.1.1; 2.2.2; 2.3.1; 2.3.2; 2.4.1; 2.4.2; 2.4.3; 2.5.3; 2.5.4 and 6.1.2.
- Conduct field survey based on methodology and procedure to conduct BEIA at farmer groups/cooperatives level in-line with the outline of the appendix I of ASC shrimp standards (including assessment tools and mitigation and offsetting) and produce final report of assessment
Requirement:
- Nationally accredited body on EIA or at least environmental scientists, biologists and ecologists with a minimum of a Master of Science degree from a university.
- At least 3 years experience working on environmental impact assessment (EIA).
- Experience in the field of biodiversity
- Having skills and experience in BEIA assessment for methodology, familiar with the project areas.

- Nationally accredited body on p-SIA or at least having Bachelor of degree or above related field (environment, society, aquaculture)
- At least 3 years experience working on environmental impact assessment (social and natural aspects).
- Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and participatory approaches (PRA).
- Having skills and experience in p-SIA assessment for methodology, familiar with the project areas
3. Proposal required
- Profile of service provider must be required
- Proposed methodology, workplan, activities, timeframe and budget (including all related taxes)
- Profile of team leader and members of the review team
