Consultant to Provide Technical Support
Consultant supports “Issue of Vietnam National Standard (TCVN): dioxin limit in environment and in waste water and air emission from industrial sectors”
The Project of “Environmental Remediation of Dioxin Contaminated Hotspots in Viet Nam” sponsored by GEF/UNDP is to minimise disruption on ecosystem and health risks for peoples from environmental releases of dioxin contaminated hotspots (Herein after referred to as Dioxin Project). Objective of the Project is "To minimize disruption of ecosystem and health risks for people from environmental releases of TCDD contaminated hotspots”. The three main outcomes as bellows:
1.Dioxin in core hotspot areas contained and remediated;
2.Land use on and around hotspots eliminates risks and contributes to environmental recovery;
3.Strengthened national regulations and institutional capacities;
In scope of Outcome 3, the Project Management Unit (PMU) is seeking qualified expert to support the Project in “Issue of Vietnam National Standard (TCVN): dioxin limit in environment and in waste water and air emission from industrial sectors”.
