Communications Officer for Animals Asia
International and Vietnamese candidates considered, with flexible hours plus the opportunity to work from home.
Experience working with international organisations is more important than specific communications experience. Based in Hanoi - this is a role within the international communications team.
Role includes:
- Supporting a busy international communications office
- Monitoring social and traditional media
- Creating and updating photographic and footage libraries
- Assisting internal communications through central storing and sharing of information
- Supporting international media liaison
Necessary skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience working with international organisations
- Flexibility, reliability and being a team player.
Preferred but non essential skills & experience:
- Experience of using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, blogging etc)
- Experience of updating websites
- An interest and understanding of animal welfare
Apart from meetings, most tasks can be completed from home with work and management via Skype withemployees expected to be online at all times during office hours. You will answer directly to the Head of Communications and will assist the Senior Content Manager and Senior PR Manager.
