RECRUITMENT FOR CHILD PROTECTION AND EDUCATION COLLABORATOR

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects working in 45 countries.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 5 provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh city. We focus on education, water & sanitation, income generation sectors in different areas of Vietnam.

Reports to: EP Team Manager

1. MAIN DUTIES

1.      Support to coordinate activities in the field of social work and psychological counseling in schools

  • Coordinating to implement the planned activities available under the guidance of the Team Manager.
  • Connecting resources (between Head Office and project sites and partners)
  • Handling relevant financial and administrative documents
  • Coordinate with the team to implement specific activities and events in this field

2. Supporting the implementation of other activities in Education and Protection Team

  • Support in handling administrative and financial documents in the team
  • Coordinate with the team to implement specific activities and events in this field
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Team Manager of the Education and Child Protection

3 . QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education: University degree in Psychology, Social Work and other related fields.

Requirements:

  • Being a 3rd, 4th year university student or just graduated with majors in Psychology, Social Work.
  • Priority is given to candidates with experience and/or development orientation in the field of social work and psychological counseling.
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze and solve problems; individual work management and team collaboration; Have creative thinking, innovation and willingness to challenge.
  • Able to use English effectively to read and write.

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and with the team;
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Good skill in computer use: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
