Vietnam Will Need $162.35M to Build Houses for the Poor This Year

Vietnam will need VND3 trillion ($162.35 million) to build houses for 180,000 poor families this year, said the Ministry of Construction.
Of the total, VND1.5 trillion is expected to come from the sate budget and the rest in soft loans from the Vietnam Development Bank (VDB), the Ha Noi Moi newspaper reported Tuesday. Vietnam has 497,223 poor families who need housing assistance.
