Vietnam Province Plans to Build $43.3M Obstetric & Pediatric Hospital

Vietnam’s Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang plans to build an obstetric and pediatric hospital that costs VND800 billion ($43.3 million) in the coming months. The 15-storey hospital, to be built on a site of 10 hectares in Soc Trang city, will have 400 sickbeds, the Nong nghiep Viet Nam newspaper reported Jan. 27. Once operational, the hospital is expected to provide better healthcare services for locals.
