Vietnam Province Operates $3.87M General Hospital

Vietnam’s central province of Ninh Thuan put into operation a VND74 billion ($3.87 million) Ninh Hai District General Hospital on Feb. 25, the Thanh Nien newspaper reported Friday. The hospital to have 50 sickbeds is expected to reduce the overload of the hospitals in the province and raise healthcare service quality for the locals. Vietnam has 13,600 state and private-owned hospitals with 172,500 sickbeds.
