Vietnam Province OKs Plan to Build $6M Obstetrics, Pediatrics Hospital

Vietnam’s central province of Thua Thien-Hue authority has approved a plan to build an obstetrics and pediatrics hospital costing VND115.474 billion ($6 million) from the state budget. The hospital, to be built on a site of 15,689 square meters in Hue City, will have 200 sick-beds, the Dai doan ket newspaper reported March 2. The hospital is expected to put into operation after four-year construction, aiming to provide better healthcare services for locals.
