Vietnam Province Oks Construction of $3.63M Obstetric & Pediatric Hospital

Authorities of Vietnam’s Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap have approved a VND69.4 billion ($3.63 million) project to build an obstetric and pediatric hospital in Cao Lanh city. The hospital, covering 66,224 square meters, will have 200 sickbeds as becoming operational in 2015, the Thanh Nien newspaper reported Aug 3. Early June, the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang also began the construction of an obstetric and pediatric hospital worth VND830 billion from g-bond.
