Vietnam Province Completes Building 4,060 Houses for Poor People

Vietnam’s Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap has completed construction of 4,060 houses totaling VND81 billion ($4.15 million) for local poor people. Of the sum, VND20 billion was mobilized from the relatives of the poor houses, VND16 billion from local authority and the rest from loans of banks, the Tien Phong newspaper reported on Oct 12.
