Vietnam Detects 4,500 Cases of Environment Pollution This Year
Vietnam’s environment police are expected to find more than 4,500 cases violating environmental regulations across the country this year, up nearly 400% from a year earlier. The Ministry of Police’s Department of Environmental Police has imposed VND28.7 billion ($1.5 million) fines on 3,400 cases and suspended and forced to move 79 firms polluting the environment.
