Vietnam Central Province Starts Building $25.92M Hospital
The health department of Vietnam’s central highlands province of Lam Dong has kick-started the construction of a general hospital worth VND495 billion ($25.92 million) from g-bond. The 500-sickbed hospital, to cover ten hectares in Bao Loc city, will meet the rising demand of medical checkups and treatment of the locals, the Dau Tu newspaper reported July 9. The facility is slated for completion in late 2013, the newspaper added. Earlier, the provincial health authorities also began the construction of a 150-sickbed pediatric hospital worth more than VND245 billion from g-bond in Da Lat city on June 29. Vietnam now has 13,600 state and private-owned hospitals with 172,500 sickbeds.
