Vietnam Central Province to Build VND20B Island District Hospital
Vietnam’s central province of Quang Tri will build a hospital worth VND20 billion ($1.03 million) from the state budget in Con Co island district late this year. The facility is expected to provide healthcare services for locals and calamity-hit victims taken to the island, the Thoi Bao Kinh Te Sai Gon newspaper reported Aug 31. In late April, local authorities began the construction of a 500-sickbed provincial general hospital worth VND730 billion from g-bond and the provincial budget.
