U.S. Group to Build Tourism Complex in Central Vietnam

U.S.-based Federal Owens - Meiwah International Holdings (FO MIH) has got a license to build a tourism complex in Vietnam’s central province of Ninh Thuan, said the local authorities. Covering an area of 250 hectares, the complex is designed to include trade centers, villas and other entertainment facilities, the provincial People’s Committee said on its website July 29. FO MIH will carry out a feasible study in late September 2010, Jorn D, Infantino, CEO of the group said, giving no detail about construction schedule and total capital of the project. Ninh Thuan is calling investment for 14 tourism projects in an effort to boost the local tourism development. Of them, three projects of Nam Cuong Desert Sand Hill, Nui Chua Tourism Complex and Dinh Mountain Tourism Complex will cost thousands of billions of dong. The locality aims to receive three million tourists this year.
