U.K. to Support Vietnam to Develop Creative Industries

The British Council and Ho Chi Minh City’s Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) have signed a memorandum of understanding on the cooperation to develop creative industries in Vietnam’s southern metropolis. Under the MoU, the British Council plans to support the ITPC to organize programs relating to creative industries such as advertising, architecture, art, crafts, design, fashion, film, music, performing arts, publishing, software, TV and radio, the Thanh Nien newspaper reported Aug 2. This is part of the U.K.’s pledge to help the Southeast Asian country in the field.
