Two Unexploded Bombs Destroyed in Bac Lieu Province
The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu’s Military Steering Committee defused two unexploded bombs and then used acid to destroy them on Aug 4. The bombs were believed to be MK 18s - were dropped during the American War; one weighed about 125 kilograms and the other more than 200 kilograms. The bombs found aboard a 800-ton sand barge in Vinh Loi District on Aug 3.
