Thai Education Exhibition to Open in Vietnam May 7-9

As many as 37 universities of Thailand will take part in the 6th Thai education exhibition in Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi from May 7 to 9, the online Thoi bao Kinh te newspaper reported. The Thai Education Commission, the Thai Embassy in Hanoi and the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training will hold the event at Hanoi-based Melia Hotel. Professor-Dr Phiniti Ratananukul, deputy secretary general of the commission said at a press briefing on May 3 that the three-day exhibition is aimed at promoting the establishment of a cooperation network between universities of Vietnam and Thailand. At the event, many Thai universities will award more than 200 scholarships to Vietnamese students.
