  • Community-Based Tourism Toolkit: A Toolkit for Monitoring and Managing Community-Based Tourism

    This toolkit published in 2007 is designed to provide readers with the know-how to set up and run a monitoring programme for a community-based tourism project. It gives step-by-step guidelines, supported by a wide range of case studies, to enable readers to embark on their own monitoring project.

  • Community-Based Tourism Booklet - English / Vietnamese
    To create a better understanding of community-based tourism, this booklet presents five case studies of community-based tourism projects in Vietnam. The descriptions of the cases are based on a series of interviews and presentations that were held before and during a two-day community-based tourism workshop in Hanoi in May 2003.     Part 1 outlines the workshop and discusses the concept of community based tourism. Part 2 contains describes the five projects: Ba Be National Park, Cuc Phuong National Park, Mai Chau, Sa Pa, and Suoi Voi.
