Policy Analyst (half-time)
Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Enviroment (iSEE) is an independent Vietnamese non-profit research and development institution working for a prosperous, democratic and just society. They are looking for a half-time Policy Analyst to join our diverse and compassionate team with different technical background, ethnicity, gender, culture and sexual orientation to effectively cope with different issues;
Key Responsibility
- Lead studies, surveys and analysis of causes of poverty, inequality and social & economic problems face by ethnic minorities and the poor
- Lead work on policy analysis in areas of ethnic minorities, economics and social welfares
- Participate in iSEE’s work on lobby, advocacy and public education on poverty and inequality issues
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree preferably in economics and/or public policy
- Capability to conduct research, studies and needs assessment using quantitative and/or qualitative approach
- Knowledgeable of poverty, inequality and development is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Personal commitment to iSEE diversity principles, the rights based approach and empowerment
Gross Salary Range (half-time): VND 15.000.000 – VND 25.000.000 depends on skills and experience
This post is are 2 year contract, renewable. 02 months probation period at start of contracts. Terms and conditions as per iSEE personnel policy.
