Impact Assessment Consultancy

PyD is INGO of Spain started working in Vietnam at the beginning of 2006 with implementation of the programme attaining gender equality, domestic violence prevention and supporting economic empowerment for women.  In 2008-2009, PyD has supported Vietnam Women’s Union and TYM Fund (Microfinance Institution) in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An training for more than 8000 poor women in Gender and Business.. An assessment is needed to see the impact on the beneficiaries’ business performance. They would like to invite consultant teams (consisting 2 members: 1 team leader and 1 assistant) to send proposals to apply for this assignment.

- Be Vietnamese expert
- Experience on SME development, Women entrepreneurship promotion
- Good knowledge on gender, gender equality in labor, micro business
- Excellent writing skills and presentation skills in both English and VietnameseVacancy:PyD
- Experience on impact assessment, especially on gender and rural micro economic activities.Vacancy:
- Proactive, professional, result oriented.

Responsibilities:
- A work plan is developed
- Designing questionnaires for interview and Focus Group Discussion
- Training staff who interview beneficiaries on how to use questionnaire
- Leading  activities during the impact assessment
- Data-based set up, Data entry and Analyzing outcomes
- Preparing report in English and in Vietnamese

Assistant:
Relevant competency to support the leader to fulfill the assignment requirement
