Hanoi Mulling Plan to Spend $32.5M to Upgrade Health Stations by 2020
Hanoi’s health authorities are mulling a plan to spend VND600 billion ($32.5 million) to upgrade health stations from now up to 2020, local media reported Dec. 25. The plan aims to train medical human resources, purchase medical equipment and expand health education network in rural areas, the Dat Viet newspaper reported Friday. Deputy Director of the city’s health department Hoang Duc Hanh said that local health stations are out of date.
