Foreign Donors Lend $1.1B to 10 Irrigation Projects in Vietnam
Foreign donors, including the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, have lent Vietnam nearly $1.1 billion to implement 10 irrigation projects, state media reported July 15. Five of these projects are being underway with a combined fund of $503 million, the Central Project Office under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was quoted by the Vietnam News Agency as saying. The remaining projects will be kicked off soon, it added.
