China Builds $4.5M Student Dormitory for Vietnam Political Academy
China has given aid of $4.5 million to the construction of student dormitory for the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy of Vietnam. The 15-storey building was put into operation Monday, the Xinhua News Agency said Nov 30. The political academy is well known for training tens of thousands of cadres for Vietnam, including many top leaders for the country during the past six decades, it added.
The dormitory project demonstrates the friendship between Vietnamese and Chinese parties, states and peoples, said Le Huu Nghia, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and director of the academy. Lu Jianhua, Assistant Commerce Minister of China believed the project will contribute to the development of the Vietnamese political academy and friendship of the two countries.
