Bomb De-activated in Ha Tinh Province

Ha Tinh Province's Military Headquarters de-activated a 500kg bomb in Thach Tri Commune on Jul 8. The bomb was believed to have been dropped in 1972 when the US Air force attacked northern Vietnam. The military have deactivated 12 bombs, weighting from 300-500kg, and thousands of shrapnel bombs since early this year.
