Austrian Firm to Build $70.78M Wastewater Treatment Plant in South Vietnam

A joint venture between Austria's SFC Environmental Technologies Pvt Ltd and two Vietnamese firms will build a VND1.352 trillion ($70.78 million) wastewater treatment plant in Ho Chi Minh City in April.
The Austrian firm, Phu Dien Construction and Investment JSC and Royal Securities Corp. will implement the project on a site of 11 hectare in district 12 under the build-transfer (BT) form, the Saigon Giai phong newspaper reported Feb. 26. The plant will have a daily capacity of 250,000 cubic meters and apply advanced bio-technologies to treat the wastewater that was collected from the Tham Luong - Ben Cat Canal before discharging into the Saigon River.
